Artist’s Journey to Envisioning:

 

“Because We Are Gods”

 

 

A few years ago, I began a journey to awaken a deeper meaning to my art.  Feeling a lack of a true connection with my heart, my soul, I put aside my painting while I went on my quest to open this doorway through to my art.  It led to some dark moments ... will I, can I ever realize this?  However, as I search deeper, this darkness began to awaken to the light of my own divineness, merging into my art as the personal belief:

“Because We Are Gods”

 

As I/my art undertook this soul voyage, it opened me to the many individuals traveling a similar quest, resonating between us all to a reawakening of our complete divineness. Seeking answers to similar Questions:

“What is the purpose of this existence?”  

“What is our relationship to the divine, to God?” 

“How can our earthly struggles and pains connect to the divine?”

“Am I of the divine and therefore, am I also a Divine Creator? 

 

My “Warrior Shield” paintings are there to give form to this quest, these questions and the pursuit of one’s reawakening. A visual story connecting to one’s Divine purpose - your truth, your Bliss. An acknowledgement that we have a soul that stands as Spiritual Warrior to one’s life struggles through to this reawakening of the divine creative beings we are …
